Redo #1: pretty petals become a pretty petal ring.
Redo #2: pretty petals become a pretty petals headband.
Redo #3: a tiny hole in my favorite bedspread becomes non-existent with a pretty petals cover-up
And now?
Well, I think I will crochet the actual potholder.

Very resourceful and PRETTY!
That pattern is addictive!! I'm in the process of a project or two inspired by it, also! I love the jewels in the middle for the ring and hair piece.
Beautiful, love the ring and hairband, what size hook are you using to make the ring and the headband if you don't mind sharing.

Oh no!I am praying to the yarn god that the sister does not see this. When you post these beautiful projects, if you could just keep me in mind and maybe add a note that are almost impossible to make?
Hehe- as usual absolutely wonderful, Dawn!

I have been playing with this pattern also - love. Did you see Attic 24's version - she has a lovely blog and just made a pillow with this pattern.

How beautiful. Love your work.
Wow they are far too beautiful to be a potholder aren't they! I love all the things you made. My wee girl will want a headband like that I am sure! Have a fab week.
What lovely ideas, especially the one for the hole, although I dearly would love to be still young enough to wear such a pretty and feminine head band. But I fear in my age it will look only silly. I admire your use of this terribly thin cotton yarn, I always hesitated to use it. I`ve got a bag full of it from an aunt and now I think they would make nice little brooches. Thanks for the inspiration!
Have a lovely week,
with my best wishes,
Suzi
Dawn, now that you've been doing thread for a while, how do you like it? Your work looks GREAT! And, of course, I love anything thread crochet. Exquisite! And I also love your versatile creativity. Your home must be a visual pleasure to visit! Thanks for sharing.
