For a friend.
Believing the impossible.
And pushing me in a good sense.
The pattern is one of the those single sheets that grace the aisles at the yarn store -- and for
the life of me,
I can not find it to give appropriate credit to the designer....

Really Dawn, does your talents have no end? This is just beautiful. Your friend deserves this, she picked you for a friend, didn't she? :)
I am just learning to crochet and your blog is inspiring. I just happen to make a 'mum' type flower just like that for a washcloth, if you can believe it! I LOVE it!
Oh Dawn, this bag is most beautiful and your friend is really blessed for having your friendship, for giving handmade gifts with all your heart. I love your colour combination a lot, I would have never thought that rust could look so very good, but the combination with your blue flower makes it sing. What a joy it then must be for your friend to look inside the bag, to see this pretty fabric which gives an extra bonus. Happy, happy friend!

Dawn, I have been trying to track down this pattern since first seeing your post a few years ago. I was able to find a booklet for purchase and it's from Annie's and is called Pretty Purses Shoulder Sling #2693. This is one of the most lovely purses I have ever seen! :)
I wonder if you could post the name of the book for the flower, as the link is no longer available. Thanks! ♡
