Continuing with 'A square a day in May', I am trying to find as many spare moments as possible to actually crochet a 12 inch square a day.
Not always happening, but nevertheless here they are:
May 6 -- Victorian Dream Square
May 7 -- April's Purple Passion Heart Square
May 8 -- On the Huh
May 9 -- Falling Star
May 10 -- Framed Flower
May 11 -- Flowery Square
May 12 -- Grandma's Heart Square
May 13 -- Multi-Colour Flower
Back to finding those spare moments..........

This looks great, I think the most difficult part is self-control :)
Your squares are awesome! I am so behind on mine. I'm having trouble findig the time as well. We are moving in June and I also have a 2 year old to take care of. :)
Hope you have a great day
Your squares look fabulous, I'm going to start mine all over again after seeing yours.
Absolutely gorgeous squares! I haven't been able to find time for much of anything this week except the daily grind! Love Grandma's Heart Square! Hope you find many more moments in May! :) Best wishes, Tammy
Your squares look great! I only discovered this CAL a week ago so I'm way behind but trying to catch up. Just finish my #5 square.
Pretty pretty pretty!!All of them. My fave is the falling star. Such pretty colours and pattern.
Every squares look pretty! I esp love the 'On the Huh' one. Keep it up, Dawn!
I love your squares! they're all so pretty!
Looking good. I love the idea of the wonky log cabin. I am sure it is much harder to do than just sewing it. Cherrie
They are so beautiful. I love the Grandma Heart square. :) Liz

What beautiful squares. I love all the different colors you are using.
Hi Dawn,
This is the first time I've left a comment on your blog -although I've been oohing and aahing -especially over your current color palette- since February when I took up crochet again after a 35 year hiatus.
You and a handful of other crochet bloggers even gave me courage to start a blog of my own! (And I've avoided doing that for years.)
So, thank you -and your work is beautiful. :)
Bonjour,
So great pictures of so great squares!
They are very beautiful.
Lucky you... May 13... I am on May 6!
I will try to catch up :)
I only found your blog May 7 and was totally "hooked"! I love the Monet and went out yesterday and bought some and started a pair of baby "boots" for my granddaughter last night, I have the first one done. I also love this block a day and will do this in the near future, I haven't done squares in years, but this is just too much to resist, and I think I may use the same Monet colors, they are all my favs, too. Love your blog!!!!
Beautiful!
The framed flower one is so pretty!
Those are all beautiful. Kudos to you for finding the time. I am in a Ravelry swap and crocheting a 12 in square is not as quick as it seems.
Good luck, can't wait to see them all together!
Beautiful... your work, your pictures, the colors you used, all of it... and I've seen your blog entirely...
Thank you for following my blog.
Have a nice week.
Anna
Hello, thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog, it's nice to meet you. You are truly a marvel at crochet, such gorgeous squares and wow what an afghan it will be. Such a simple, achievable and effective idea, I might justhave to do it myself xox Carry on with the "hooky joy"
Your squares are also gorgeous! I love them all! greetings from Holland
So beautiful - you work is amazing.
As always fabulous work! I admire your creativity!
Sandy from love ya to stitches..
love your squares! thanks for getting involved!
Your squares are meticulous. Really beautiful. Nice work...
Wow! Lovely colors, lovely images, lovely blog! We love crochet too!
Your squares are gorgeous! I can't imagine finding the time for a 12 inch square each day! But I really have to commend you for your presentation on your blog. Your "polaroid" framing, the collage of all your finished squares...so clever and sooo gorgeous. x&o, Annette
These are so very lovely! Just wanted to know what you did to make each one the same size? Why I'm asking is when I finished the (pretty big) task of finding all the patterns, I saw that some of them are smaller squares (8 inch and 10 inch, for example). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Kari from Cape Town
