دریچه منهول پلی اتیلن هم یکی دیگر از نوع دریچه هایی می باشد که معمولا به عنوان درپوش منهول ها و جهت جلوگیری از ورود اجسام خارجی در مکان هایی که تردد افراد و وسایل نقلیه وجود ندارد به علت مقاومت پایین پلاستیک استفاده می شود و در پیاده رو ها و خیابان ها کاربردی ندارند.
دهانه دریچه های منهول جهت ورود انسان فارغ از جنس آنها مطابق با الزامات ایمنی حداقل ۶۰۰ میلیمتر می باشد. قطر دریچه با احتساب ۲۵ میلیمتر جهت نشیمنگاه در هر طرف ۶۵۰ میلیمتر خواهد بود.
اگر به دنبال مخزن آب هستید یا یک مخزن سپتیک، احتمالاً با دو گزینه برای مواد سروکار دارید: پلاستیک (مخصوصاً پلی اتیلن) و بتن. هر دو فراز و نشیب خود را دارند، اما بیشتر تصمیم‌گیری‌ها به شرایط محیطی بستگی دارد - یعنی عوامل مالی، لجستیکی و آب و هوایی که برای هر ملک منحصر به فرد است.
